Struggling with anxiety, low mood or patterns of thinking that keep pulling you back? At Kind Soul Psych, I offer evidence-based CBT therapy for depression, anxiety and stress to challenge unhelpful thoughts, build practical coping skills and help you create lasting, meaningful change.
Years of experience
Life challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and persistent negative thinking can feel overwhelming and affect everyday functioning.
At Kind Soul Psych, I offer warm, evidence-based psychotherapy that incorporates CBT-informed techniques and strategies where appropriate to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact, as part of a holistic psychotherapy approach tailored to your individual needs. This allows therapy to remain practical, flexible, and responsive rather than rigid or formula-based.
We work together on developing practical coping skills, emotional awareness, and healthier thinking patterns. This balanced approach supports meaningful and sustainable change while respecting your unique experiences and the pace that you feel is most suitable.
As a London-based psychotherapist with CBT training, I offer flexible therapy options to support your mental health journey.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, which is why I offer a complimentary initial consultation. This session allows us to discuss your concerns, explore whether CBT-informed psychotherapy is suitable for you, and answer any questions about the process — with no obligation to continue.
Online sessions provide accessible, confidential support from your home or another private space. Many clients find online therapy comfortable and effective while still benefiting from structured, evidence-based psychological work.
For those who prefer in-person sessions, I offer therapy in a calm and confidential London setting. Sessions focus on identifying patterns that keep you stuck and developing practical tools you can apply in daily life.
I am a qualified psychotherapist with postgraduate CBT training, alongside broader therapeutic education and clinical experience across NHS and private practice settings.
Your therapy is shaped around you. I take time to understand your goals, challenges, and background, creating a tailored approach that may integrate CBT tools with wider psychotherapy methods.
Therapy should fit into your life. I offer flexible scheduling with both online and in-person options.
CBT techniques are widely supported by research. Where helpful, these are used alongside psychotherapy to support both symptom relief and deeper emotional understanding.
You’ll be offered a safe, respectful environment where you can speak openly and be heard without judgement.
We explore your current difficulties, personal history, and therapy goals, ensuring you feel informed and comfortable.
Therapy goals are agreed together, ensuring the work remains relevant, practical, and aligned with what matters most to you.
Sessions focus on understanding patterns, developing coping strategies, and practising practical techniques you can use between sessions.
Progress is reviewed regularly, with therapy adjusted as your needs evolve.
Working with a psychotherapist who integrates CBT tools can help you better understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Clients often report improved emotional regulation, increased confidence, healthier relationships, and stronger coping skills that continue long after therapy ends.
Studied CBT at King's College London
I’m Sabbir, a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and EMCC-accredited therapeutic coach. For more than twenty years I have worked in NHS mental health services and private practice, supporting people through trauma, anxiety, depression, BPD, addiction and neurodivergence
I trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and completed CBT training at King’s College London, with further work in DBT and family and systemic therapy. That clinical depth sits underneath everything, whether we are doing therapy or coaching.
My own path shapes how I work. I came to London as a young immigrant and trained while raising a son newly diagnosed with autism. Holding hope when others doubt you is something I understand first-hand.
Being a CBT therapist located in London, I apply the effective Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to facilitate your understanding of thoughts, emotion regulation, and behaviour change. You will acquire hands-on tools for anxiety, depression, and normal life challenges, and this will be the start of your journey towards emotional stability, self-assurance, and toughness which are all necessary for a healthy future.
CBT-informed psychotherapy can be helpful if you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, phobias, panic symptoms, unhelpful thinking patterns, or behaviours you wish to change. If you value a structured, collaborative approach that focuses on practical skills and clear goals, this style of therapy may suit you well. During the initial consultation, we can explore whether CBT-informed work feels appropriate for your needs.
The same top-notch, evidence-based treatment is provided both through online and face-to-face CBT therapy with me—the only difference is the way it is delivered. Online sessions make it easy and flexible for you to get professional support from anywhere with internet access. This is perfect for busy people or those with physical limitations. On the other hand, in-person sessions provide the classic therapeutic experience in an environment made for that purpose and away from daily distractions. Some clients prefer this because it helps to create a bond.
CBT, which is a focused, short-term approach, has a tendency to bring about improvement in just a few sessions when working with a therapist in London. It helps you develop some necessary skills to cope with the challenges alone and create a strong emotional wellness over time.
The beginning of your sessions will mainly be an assessment and a consultation where we will become acquainted, and the ground for our collaboration will be set. I will inquire about your present difficulties, signs, mental health background, and what you intend to reach through therapy. We will talk about how CBT operates and if it is suitable for your case. This is also the moment for you to get clarification on my experience, style, and what therapy will be like. As your CBT therapist in London, I want you to be at ease and knowledgeable about what is expected of you before you make the decision to come for the frequent sessions. In case we both think that forming a partnership is the right thing to do, we will be making appointments on a regular basis and will start working on your treatment plan that is based on your needs.
CBT incorporates homework as an essential component. Being your CBT therapist in London, I give you easy and appropriate tasks to practice the skills between the sessions. Doing this kind of practice in real life is the way to develop new habits, to consolidate learning, and to make changes that are not limited to the therapy sessions.
Book your initial consultation today and take the first step towards clarity, confidence and lasting change.
