After more than a decade working as a psychotherapist in the NHS and in private practice, I’ve learned that healing and growth come in many shapes and sizes. Some people are ready for deep therapy; others want a steadier bridge—space to reflect with the safety of a therapist and the momentum of coaching. That bridge is therapeutic coaching.
Therapeutic coaching blends an evidence‑based understanding of the mind with a practical, goal‑directed coaching style. Sessions are short, focused and measurable, so you leave with clear next steps and accountability.

This approach is especially helpful if you:
Every coaching session is a little different, because your needs set the pace and focus. Typically, sessions begin with arriving and orienting: checking what’s most present for you and anything that’s shifted since we last met. From there, we’ll agree a focus for the conversation, explore what’s helping and what’s getting in the way.
Sessions usually conclude by distilling the conversation into a few realistic next steps and how you want to track them between sessions. Many people find a weekly or fortnightly rhythm helpful, but we’ll choose the cadence that supports your momentum.

Reset pace and boundaries, rebuild energy, and design work and life that support recovery.

Quiet the inner critic, practise courageous actions, and build self‑belief you can rely on.

Gentle habit change, movement and sleep routines, and realistic plans that meet your season of life.

Brain‑friendly systems, time and focus tools, and strengths‑based planning without masking or shame.

Support for teens and young adults: goals, motivation, study skills and steady self‑confidence.

Improve communication, repair ruptures, align expectations and practise boundaries for kinder connection.

Clarity, prioritisation and decision‑making; meeting rhythms and deep‑work habits that scale your impact.

Founder support: focus and runway planning, co‑founder alignment, hiring decisions and pitch practice.
Most clients report making positive changes after 6–12 sessions, however some clients prefer longer durations for their coaching. We’ll review progress regularly.
Both. I offer secure video sessions and in‑person appointments at my Harley Street and EC1 practices.
We won’t ignore it, but we’ll keep the focus on what helps you move forward now.
If we discover you’d benefit more from therapy, I’ll recommend the right pathway (e.g., Individual Therapy, DBT or Couple(s) Therapy) and we can switch.

I’m a psychotherapist with extensive NHS and private‑practice experience. My approach is warm, structured and practical: we translate insight into action so you can create meaningful change without feeling overwhelmed.

Small, focused steps add up. If you’re ready to turn insight into action, I’d love to help.
