Couple Therapy

Couple Therapy and Counselling

Couple therapy (also known as couples counselling) is a specific approach to therapy. It helps partners address and resolve problems in their relationship.

Depending on your specific circumstances as a couple, the specific goals and objectives of couples therapy may vary.

Couple therapy creates a safe space. It lets partners share their feelings and vulnerabilities. In this way, you can avoid behaviors that might hurt your relationship.

The main objective of couple therapy is to reduce distress and conflict. Moreover, it helps improve everyday interactions between partners.

As a psychotherapist, I work to create a neutral and supportive setting. Here, you and your partner can talk openly with each other.

Relationships can be wonderful and exciting. However, they also require time, effort, and patience. In addition, building a strong bond takes work.

After training as a psychotherapist, I earned a clinical diploma in systemic and family psychotherapy at St George’s Hospital in London. Since then, I have worked with couples and families for many years.

I believe every couple can improve their communication. Therefore, I help partners express their feelings and overcome harmful behaviors.
